Banks stocks also looking weak, AND a negative article in Barron's on commercial loan losses...

Financials are about 40% of the stocks on the NYSE.

By the way, Barron's has been doing a very nice job the past few months - relevant, useful reporting. Definetly worth the $3.50 for a hard copy. And it's weekly, so it doesn't take up too much reading time.

A deflationary environment makes cash look great.

Cash - just make sure your bills have Bob Rubin's signature own them. Those are the good ones ;-)
