Ericsson is close to a GSM-order worth 2,6 billion SEK, $230. The client is Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, Indias telekom company. The order is for net infrastructure for a net with 1.6 million customers.

The T65 is a new GPRS phone with one-button access to the Mobile Internet, featuring WAP functionality and a contemporary design. With this phone, users can send enhanced messages- with pictures, animations, sound marks and formatted text. Mobile chat is also enabled.

T65 will be available in GSM900/1800 markets in fourth quarter 2001. T65 also offers ways to personalize, with images, sounds and changing content from the Web. It has a built-in antenna and battery, and supports connection speeds of up to 43.2 kbps. <snip> <<
