But wait, we are agreeing here. I will take the blame for using the wrong degree labels.

Prechter sees us in 'cycle' wave 5. I am saying the under this view, we'd be in a wave 4 here ('primary' then) with new highs on the DOW finishing the 'cycle' wave 5 as well as the 'supercycle'.

No matter. The point still holds: According to Prechter, one more new high on the DOW and we would be open to an unspeakable correction.

There are other counts, aside from Prechter, for the LT DOW.

Also, if one always holds out for the one new high, then one may well miss the decline. Prechter may just turn out to be wrong.
