Seeing many layoff announcements today as companies use fridays states as cover as they decide to become lean and mean for next upturn. I view this as a positive. I am not unsympathetic to the plight of the unemployed but stepping back one can see that this always happens. Heard economists say over the weekend that we might move back to 6% which used to be considered the full employment number back in the early 90's. mike

Tito, re >AMAT's Prices during the Last quarter of the year is usually Cheaper than the Prices during the First quarter of the following year.< I remember Big Bucks saying that years ago, but I have not looked at seasonality lately.
