It's possible the concussions have affected him. My pet theory on the Rams is that Martz would be better suited focusing on the offense, not head coaching. He could probably get a better view of what opponents are doing from up in the booth than down on the field. He would also have more time to prepare his gameplan. I think the league's defenses have made some adjustments to his offense, and he hasn't had the chance to readjust in return.

When Warner threw the ball 2 seasons ago, he threw it with confidence, even if they got picked off
but after the concussion last year, his throws are not as crispy and more tentative ...
I agree that 2 seasons ago, it is magical, given the defense that can't stop nobody, and if not for Mike Jones, we might not be the superbowl champion ...
I think the offense is not as good (or magical) as 2 yaers ago, but the defense is much better, and is going to get better, and the offense will do enough to win games (witness the overtime performance of Warner to Bruce to Wilkens) ...
