Once again..more information for you ...(Poland, Russia were allowed to retain land that belonged to Germans, right?
It is o'key to "grab the land" from the agressor (1948) right? You seem to have no problem with land, other than settlements, right? By the way what is wrong with Mohandas Ghandi way..say for Arafat to come-out and say we are pieceful nation, we lay-down our arms, we would not kill anyone...lets all live in piece? <g> You think that would dramatically change public opinion in the West?....
Back to the historic information...only for the intelectuals
(No zionist should bother to read...)

Each successive ruler subdivided his conquest as he saw fit, though none, since the Romans, considered "Palestine" as having a separate administrative or geographic entity.

The Ottoman Turks, who ruled this area from the year 1516 to 1917, regarded it as part of Southern Syria. The land later referred to as "Palestine" was divided into three separate districts.

The area was underpopulated and remained economically stagnant until the arrival of the first Zionist pioneers in the 1880's,(3) who came to rebuild the Jewish land.

My understanding is that you are the great student of Mohandus...you just disagree on the starting point...the enemy must be destroyed before, discussion will follow <g>
