Good for you. But I personally know a number of technogeeks that had 100%, or close to 100%, in tech stocks. As the stocks rocketed higher, almost all of them held on thinking that tech really deserved those lofty valuations and that the world was just getting to realize that tech is the future, that we ain't seen nuthin' yet... blah blah blah. And in the end, they all got shafted.

I also know a few among them that showed the ability to separate their "geekiness" from their investing decisions but they were in a minority, like 1 out of 10.
