I think you exaggerate. We may have one more test after some rallying but it won't be as bad as the last one. Our leaders have no choice but to do everything they can to pump this market and economy now. Either they do it or they die. They have considerable power remaining which they haven;t used. Rate cuts down to 2.75% and capital gains tax cuts for two examples. These will probably both happen before the end of the year. Greenspan doesn't want to go out a loser, remember. And he has zero inflation working for him. Maybe even less than zero.
