"Is there anyone left with any credibility"

Were there many in the first place, knowingly touting a company that never made one penny in profits? Knowingly hooking a lot of bagholders to "the story" whilst the market was busy going the other way the last 18 months?
Credibility in the eyes of the market, is a WHOLE lot different than striving to look credible to the most die hard one way only supporters who will always have the attitude "Going down with the ship in ship shape, Cap'n, aye! aye! no need to set a loss point to preserve capital, just trust in our own research and keep reaching for anything that sounds positive, and the naysayers will be vanquished!" Also: "Things can't possibly get any worse, bankruptcy, de-listing etc. is not even a remote chance" or in the continuing great spirit of Spring and even summer 2000, "This stock will never ever see below $50 in our lifetime!! Load up the boat now!!!"

Where is the accountability, do you ever think you will hear from those who supposedly had all of this credibility to begin with in the eyes of the market, a credible apology and admission that they were wrong? That they should have been more forthcoming, instead of letting the sleuthing and newsdigging be a function of the small investors to find out on their own? (The market action was quite telling by saying ignore any "good" sounding news a long time ago, but that doesn't matter now) By their silence which spoke volumes, now months later the bagholders are still left to wonder what happened via old Edgar filings, one has to wonder why those with this supposed credibility, with all of their impressive wealth and smarts, did not accept personal responsibility either along with the small players.

Is it just possible, however remote, that ego plays a small part?
