Are you following the NYC mayor's race? The Republican Party apparatus is behind Bloomberg and his deep pockets, but they're screwing up by not backing Herman Badillo. I was under the impression the Republicans were trying to attract the Spanish speaking vote. The mayor of NY becomes a national figure, and Badillo would represent the party well. He's been a Republican a lot longer than Bloomberg, too. I think they vote today.
