Thanks for all the Chesterton link Joe ...they are really
fun to read & actually very advanced.

so I am finally getting around to starting a Chesterton File now .

I am in that camp of non-dualism too . The concept of evil
and a Satan/devil seemed to have served a purpose at
one time for man and his cosmology , but I think
it has outlived it's usefullness now.

Prolly never served anyone any good really from
the start , trying to identify virtues , and the vices
rather than just emphasizing truth , consistency,
and what it is just to lead simple , abundant
"authentic" lives ...

free of vain , pontificating deceptions,
and pretense .

PS: here's a good quote from a financial post someone made on my thread concerning the stockmarket "bubble" you might like :

ancient Roman epigram:
"Mundus vult decipi; ergo decipiatur":

The world wants to be deceived; let it therefore be deceived.

* The Romans might have added, for
financial context, that the world is most credulous during bull markets.
Prosperity makes it gullible.

I am very familiar with Orthodoxy, and quite fond of it. I have no idea what your point is, though.......
