Freedom comes at a price. Almost always that price includes the loss of life. To live in a society that is safe often means giving up freedoms. Any loss of freedom is unacceptable. But to bow down to terrorists is the most unacceptable cost of freedom. Whether it's religious or financial terrorism it only draws the resources of good people to fight in a battle of right versus evil. No one of any nation should live with the threat of terrorism, any where. But in the past many countries have turned a blind eye to other nations in the hope that what goes on there won't affect us here. Ignorance of evil leads people into subjection of terrorists. One must stand with ALL to fight any wrong doings from any nation or any group acting within a nation. If people fail in this task it leads terror to run rampant over them. People should never give up freedom to aspire for safety, but safety must also be defended. Do people have a right to live in a secure state whilst also having the freedom to live as they wish?

Upon this day I believe that all good people should lend their support, hope, courage to the friends and family that lost loved ones on both Sept 11, 2001 and the following days since. Not since the Second World War has many so many heroes meet, and succeeded in shining in the hearts of all nations. The attack on NY City, Washington & Flight 77 was but the first day of a new war against fear. This war is life long battles that can only be won by continue support at all levels. For far to long people have avoided the issues of other nations that have spilled over into yours' and my countries. But the tide of oppression must be over… no longer will anyone accept tyranny at any costs. Within oppressive regimes there remains hope. And courage going forward will lead to a safer world. But never forget it starts with you.

Upon this day, say a pray for all the fallen people of terrorist. Make sure in the future that no one else must suffer the fate of those in the past. Offer support to all you can and remember that they are all your brother and sisters. Keep in your heart that you will survive another day, but that vigilance must always be forefront in your mind. Never let terrorism breed in the fear of mankind, for it is the weakest form of autocracy. All people are important regardless of stature, except terrorists!

When requested later today, please stand for a moment in silence and ponder the past. Then reflect as to what the future holds. If you aren't scared yet, you should be. These terrorists were armatures. The press has clearly demonstrated on TV far worse targets that would have achieved more dramatic and longer lasting affects. By and far the world has lost its innocence that can never be captured again. The world is a much worse place to live in since September 11, 2001. And it's only going to get worse. Protect yourself, your neighbor and all others.
