Lorne,
All theses 10 and 20 O & G trusts combined together means nothing to OPEC and the big players. They control the price. These trusts are only small regional player, and they are subjected to fluctuation of oil price. However these trusts let us make a few dollars because they are willing to pay out most of their profit.. there is no sure win, I am sure that even this industry will go through a process of merger or take over if the O & G situation become worst. One of the reason of high Oil price is OPEC learn their lesson in the past and they will not be fool again and let us use cheap oil. NCE is a pain, although I am still in the black, but I do not make much from this one.
George

Jeez it must be nice to be so incredibly brilliant. And don't ever again call me a liar, you complete POS.

-------- All can look over your posts to me and clearly see it was you who first decided to resort to name calling not me. Hey its not that nice is it when your on the receiving end this time, is it. If you wish to continue such behavior I can accommodate you as well. Now had you been more civilized I would have been a bit more polite in excepting your challenge to talk directly to the funds and ask them a more general question. Instead I chose to be specific and attack your assertion that the funds were selling at losses. So using the table you supplied I asked several trusts how much oil they sold at $0.21 CDN on Sep 02. Not one I contacted did. NOT ONE. That makes you a LIAR.--------------------------------- .

Trusts sell a
large portion of their unhedged production on the Alberta spot market. I provided 2 links which indicated the September
prices at Empress. I also pointed out that these prices were in Canadian dollars. You spent a large amount of time
making the absurd claim that these prices were in U.S. dollars.

--------------- Sorry but I have not relinquished the claim that these are US$ prices. The site still claims that on that reference I took from them they are all US$. You have yet to provide data I asked for that states that PGF or any trust has sold gas at X amount CDN or US. Until you do so. Your blowing a lot of BS. --------------------

When it became apparent that this was not true

-------its not apparent where is the data I asked to see?????? you haven't provided it-----------------------------------

(amazing that a genius like you can make an infantile mistake like that) you than changed your approach to state that
Canadian trusts never sold at the prices indicated.

--------- your statement or assertion was that these trusts were selling their gas at losses and huge losses. I checked into that fact with the trusts themselves they are not . Again your a LIAR-----------------------------------

I don't know whether any particular trust was in the spot market on
any particular day, and neither do you.

----------------- Sorry but I do know I contacted several trusts and asked if they sold any gas on sep 02 for $0.21 CDN. The answer from all was a resounding NO. I even put up a posting here for every one here to make the calls and ask themselves. ----------------------------------------------------------------

I do know that the average September price at Empress so far is $2.29 .
Canadian, and that trusts selling at the Canadian spot, which they all do on a regular basis, are feeling the heat. That's
one of the reasons they're dropping like a rock.

---------------- Lets see if you were correct the trusts would be falling but they would be falling not just a cents a day with the news that the trusts are selling their gas at 50% or less of US quotes and at huge losses .but they would all be falling $'s a day. Show me in the last several trading days that all trusts have fallen by that extraordinarily amount. The only one that has, has been NCF and thats because of a secondary offerring and not as you suggest. Again the data just does not support what you have to say . It never has it never will.

By the way, I see that NCF, one of your highly touted trusts, is down big-time. Possibly the worst-managed trust out
there.

-------------- Will see. As I said I do not concern myself with what happens in a day in a week in a month. I look to the long term and the very long term. Gee if we want to pinpoint on my posted past picks (documented) over the last few months then Lets. ERF.WT --- over 300% ( already three buys and sells and more coming - with first buy $1 sold at $2.50 ). EIT.RT --------- nearly 400% on those sold. ( buy $0.05 sold $0.20 ) ENOUGH SAID ABOUT THAT.
