phone service in nyc is pretty spotty at the moment. i'm at home and cannot dial out(though strangely enough dsl still works) i think in general, unless they worked in those two buildings or are responsible for fire/police service, they're probably okay. i know of at least a couple of brokers that are okay as they're not in that building. i hope that helps.
