A colleague of mine talked to his son who's about 20 blocks and he was ok at the time. At least they haven't gone after the communications infrastructure yet. How long do you think the NYSE will be down. A month? We will find out how resiliant our Capitalist system really is.

My daughter called on cell about hour ago. Many on move uptown. Very distraught. Very. Last report has masses moving to exit Manhattan. Hope some authority has insured that bridges and tunnels are protected. We can't win this by fighting individual terrorists. All who support, comfort are allow their existence have become targets. No nukes but no prisoners. FWIW, I was in touch second-hand with Pentagon this a.m. before attack there. Appreciate any word if others have private sources.
