been impossible to arrest Bin Ladan,
Clinton came under heavy critisism when he bombed the factories owned by Bin Ladan and fired cruise missles at his base in Afganistan. There have been State Department alerts in the last few days most of which seemed consentrated in Japan. I guess they knew something was up but didn't know what. There must be some rather sophisticated disguised guns involved.

It seems to me that when a strong organization such as his decides to do something like this no one can stop them.
Wanna bet? That was yesterday.

Bush has alienated just about every country except Mexico and even the Mexican President gave him
an ultimatum when he was here last week.

Just what the F is Mexico going to do? Invade? Cut off trade? Break relations?
Idiot.

I wonder what kind of leverage the US has against the Taliban, a cruel and heartless fundamentalist group, a group that should be driven from power.
101st Airborne? Big Red One? M40 thermonuclear device?

That was yesterday. The rules just changed, dingbat.

Mephisto, I heard Sandy Berger say that Bin Laden has 5,000 to 10,000 operatives in about 60 different states. Many of these governments are unstable and the leaders are afraid of offending supporters of Bin Laden. Will the US actually send ground troops into to get rid of these operatives in all of these states even if it offends the leaders? Somehow, I doubt it. What do you think?
