As for attack, let it be carefully aimed at those responsible. Let's not bomb pharmaceutical companies of embassies (to name a few embarrassing errors) in our pursuit of "justice."

While I can agree with you in the "intent" the reality is unfortunately quite different. However, looking at the level of this attack, I doubt highly that it will be a matter of first consideration.

There are weapons that may accomplish such, but so called collateral damage as unfortunate as it is, may occur.

The real test of compassion is feeling it for people who do NOT feel it for you. It's easy to be compassionate when the people on the other end are warm fuzzy friends.

I have no concern as to my lack of compassion for terrorists.

Actually, I feel safer knowing that I have NO compassion for those who have none for me, therefore, I could not care less to pass the "real test for compassion".

As to your comment about "compassion for fuzzy friends", I have no idea what the hell you meant by that so at this point I will ignore it.

I can feel compassion for the VICTIMS of this attack. They are NOT necessarily "fuzzy friends" as you make mention of as an example of WHO should I feel "easy" for having compassion for. But I am NOT about to feel compassion for the terrorists who executed this attack.

X, let me assure you I am NOT your enemy. But what has taken place has no precedence and it has certainly awaken me as I hope it will awaken many who will be, no doubt, in a much better position than you or me to take action in this matter.

I wish no evil to those who have no evil in their heart, but to those others who do hold it, I could not feel a gram of compassion even if I tried.
