We have been worried about my 83 year old mother in law, alone in an apartment in Annapolis. We finally got through to her (though phone connections to that part of the country are funky right now) and she is fine. I'm going to turn this off, eat, and spend some time thinking and decompressing. I'm feeling the first stages of shock: inability to be articulate, loss of short term memory, emotional disocciation. It's time to regroup a bit. I'll be back. Thank you to all here for keeping in touch.
