No, this would require huge planning. Probably years. Just think about the number of rehearsals and the amount of scouting that had to be done. Hijacking a plane is non-trivial. Hijacking 5 simultaneously is amazing. It's quite something. Think as well that no western intelligence service caught wind of this and it's been in the works for at least many months. That's incredible. These folks know how to plan and how to keep from being discovered.

At least several batches of guerillas all who need to be brought to the US and supported and highly skilled to get arms on planes undetected and maybe even fly large airliners and be willing to die for the cause. It is a big operation....
