May as well talk about the market. The next couple days will be rough. But: tragic as it is, the world is not going to stop working. An air traffic lockdown in the US is sure going to mess things up for a while though.

Supposedly, 50k people worked at the World Trade Center. I have a very bad feeling about how many could have been evacuated in the limited time available between the strikes and the collapses.

(oops, I thought I was responding to Gottfried. WTC is pretty close to Wall St, not? Flooding the markets with liquidity worked ok in '87, this time around, it's probably good to keep the markets closed a while.)
