As terrible as all this is, and the repercussions on our daily lives that will ensue, perhaps this is a wake up call that the many of our citizens have been needing for a long time. We cannot embrace the rest of the entire world. We cannot fool ourselves into thinking that we can make friends of all the world through our benevolence. Even Tom Brokaw (NBC) just said THIS IS AN ACT OF WAR! And it is....Kissinger just said the attack was comparable to Pearl Harbor (2400 killed there)....But that was on a military target....This attack was on civilians and our society. He felt it was a "shocking event"...an "integrated attack" and must be "dealt with in an integrated way" .... he said these are massive and coordinated events...financed by those with a good deal of money..."everything has changed today"
