I agree, the terminology should be deliberate. But from a standpoint of galvanizing of opinion I say we are entering a state of readiness similar to war. This goes beyond a police action in the sense of public opinion and involvement - at least like no other police action in American history. This galvanizes the hate and approach to terrorism and terrorist states. There will be no quarters for hiding. "Get with us in ferreting out the scum "criminals" or you are against us" will be the message to world leaders. No more hem hawing.

We are in a state of police action at the world level. We need to do whatever it takes to bring these CRIMINALS to justice.

Terrorists you send a Tomahawk with their name tattooed on it to awake them from sleep with a laser pinpoint on their forehead...
