Thailand Bans Oil Exports, Calls Emergency Govt Mtg Wed

BANGKOK (Dow Jones)--Thai Finance Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said late
Tuesday that Thailand is banning oil exports to maintain its reserves,
following attacks on key targets in New York and Washington.
Thailand has enough reserves to cover its domestic needs for two months,
according to Industry Ministry officials.
Somkid told reporters that an emergency government meeting will be held
early Wednesday to decide on further action following the attacks.
He said no decision has been taken yet on whether the Stock Exchange of
Thailand will operate Wednesday. Thai authorities will wait to see whether
the Hong Kong market opens at 0000 GMT as scheduled and will act
accordingly, he added.
Somkid expressed fears that the disaster will aggravate the U.S. economic
downturn, in turn the affecting world economy.

Probably already set bombs in areas where large crowds congregate, all parks in Orlando and Kennedy Space Center shut down here. Trying to kill as many innocent people as possible is totally reprehensible!
