You just had the timing wrong. I don't anyone disagreed about whether it would actually happen.

I have been much more concerned about chemical and bacteriological attacks. A lot more indiscriminate and deadly.

We've entered a new era. We now live in a world where these kinds of things have to be anticipated with meticulous care. It's going to be expensive and politically contentious. If we do not do the necessary, the costs are going to be much more than we think.

As I see it, the immediate economic costs are going to be in the billions. For starters, I'd hate to the insurer of the WTC, the jetliners, the Pentagon, and the thousands of people who presumably lost their lives today. Since I hear that about 200 NYC firefighters lost their lives, the cost of protecting NYC while the Department is rebuilt is going to be astronomical.

And it goes on and on..
