No, this country will not turn to such low level of savagery. The idea, the concept that this country represents and has inpired many to build it will continue. It will continue because it lives in our minds. Contrary to terrorism we have a mentality to BUILD not to DESTROY. If this traces back to Afghanistan, what we had a large hand in building there in the last 20 years is a large part of the problem. And however it turns out, we will still be a lot better off than the poor Afghans.
