From the East Coast Many people who consider themslves environmentalists and Tree huggers etc. want our nation to survive as much as non-tree huggers. The sad thing here is that we knew years ago that we needed to prepare for terroism via our airport systems and at our major government facilities---and we stuck our heads in the sand and did not do it. Having lived in the D. C. area for years-----I am quite frankly appalled with the security system at the Dulles Airport. With the flight out of dulles----how did these terroists or terroist get aboard----were they passengers---were they personnel? How. One other point----it does no good to bash the left, the right, or whatever----what is needed is some unity in the country. Our nation was spared the devastation that wreaked Europe and England during WWII when the dictator Hitler was determined to control. Today, we still have the Hitlers. Was this Benl---however you spell it? I don't know----but one thing for certain terroists must be dealt with and dealt with swiftly without warning. mj
