<<how about $100m ?>>

That hundred million dollar figure might capture the attention of some of the most sophisticated international killers (professional assassins)...If it can be proven that Ben Laden was behind today's terrorist acts, he does not have long to live. It is difficult for the U.S. Government to actively do what might need to be done here...Once the CIA or FBI confirm what happened and who was the mastermind then appropriate actions can be taken. However, it may be a little early for us speculate too much.

Best Regards,

Scott

JW: Why do we spend SO MUCH on missles when our real threat HAS NOT been addressed?

We need to spend Defense money MUCH MORE INTELLIGENTLY...IMHO, that large and innefficent department has plenty of money BUT its often not spent wisely. Why do we spends tens of billions on weapons and war ships when we need to upgrade our Airport Security in A BIG WAY. I would rather spend billions on upgrading air traffic control and implementing new more comprehensive airport and airplane security measures. The CIA, FBI and other Intelligence organizations are way too reactionary. We need to be more proactive with the way we track radical organizations like Ben Ladens. Its time for a Congressional debate and a reorganization of our priorities. Military might WILL NOT ever make the U.S. completely safe....Neither will 'a Star Wars' missle defense system. Lets recognize this and start to SPEND OUR HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DEFENSE DOLLARS MORE WISELY. Our National Intelligence system has clearly failed us and its time for a serious upgrade.

Just my views.

Best Regards,

Scott
