There were reports during the Gulf War about Palestinians who cheered from the rooftops when Scud missiles fell on Israel too. Is that justification for suggesting that we should punish the entire Palestinian community (or all of the people of Islam as one poster implied)? I think it would be more useful to reflect on how so many people have reached such a state of desperation that they would applaud these terrible acts
