Demonizing your enemy (making him/her seem less than
human) is the first step towards justifying why he/she
should be killed.

The way you refer to:

"Radical Muslim elements in the world"

is very similar to the way Radical Jewish elements in the world" were referred to 60 years ago or so (by their enemies)The effort was made by their enemies to demonize them. The suggestion was that they should be eliminated to get rid of the problem they were creating.

The Jewish people wanted a homeland. So do the Palestinians. Why is that so surprising?

Radical elements of EVERY group always propose violence as
the solution.

It NEVER is. It just breeds more VIOLENCE.

Namaste!

Jim

How quickly we forget that after the Shah of Iran was deposed the radical Muslims in Iran were as violent and crazed as they are today. There was no Israel in that mess.
The radical Muslims have always hated the West for their actions and beliefs.

Just read your post I am prone to agree with you that Hamas jihad ,hesbollah ,BenLaden will not be happy while Israel exists T S and many other posters agree with you that they feel the UN can not solve it. I feel it is preferable to posibly fail having tried <& hopefully acheive some sucess to build on> then not having tried. I also feel it is important to focus on the small number of Muslem criminals and not to condem 10s of millions of people for the acts of and support of thousands
