Laz,

I think a land invasion may be very difficult to mount. Saturation bombing, with non-nuclear bombs, on the major sites, and especially the areas where Bin Ladin has been known to occupy. As the bombing proceeds, there is a slight possibility that the people will rise up against the Taliban, and finish the job.
