I also agree with you that The U.S. may not have done enough to help effectively address the Arab-Israeli conflict...It's unfortunate that we have antagonized folks so much. Jill, can you see the Towers on their side? the streets must look like London during WW2 this resembles a warlike status Bush's shortcoming is his shallow treatment of the Middle East I am convinced that as long as US leaders are working hard in the center of mediation between Israel and Palestine, our nation is safe when we walk away from constructive purposeful dialog toward a solution (even if unattainable), we all become vulnerable, esp our symbols just like out of a cheap Japanese movie with some goony flying insect / jim

Thanks for posting Jill. Glad you are OK physically........ I would think this cowardly act will carry a heavy emotionally toll to all of you that was so close to the scene of the crime. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care of yourself. dealie
