Ed: I fully understand what you're saying. "Demonize the Afghanistan government if you want, but keep in mind that if we attack civilians as part of our retaliation we are killing good ones along with the bad." Thus is the very nature of war. It's just killing, that's all; killing as many as possible in that geographic region to which you referred. If Bin Laden is guilty, I would advise all the "good ones" in Afghanistan to quickly find another place to live. RK
