My interpretation of the news from Israel over the past months and months is that most of OUR country wants peace THERE, if they have to give away THEIR whole country. Maybe if we went through what they go through daily, we'd feel we had the right to respond to each provocation as they do lately.

That response makes it look like they don't really want peace but I don't agree. They're just tired of having their families killed. I know many will say that "Arafat's people" are tired of the same thing -- unfortunately in spite of what they say, they don't want Israel to exist as a country so provocation will not stop.

If it did, THERE WOULD BE PEACE.

You and I both know when that will happen.

Still --- we pray for the comfort of the families who lost loved ones and for the healing of those injured. And for knowledge and wisdom for our leaders as they decide on our response.
