Great news, Roger. Lots of random chance in life. When the Serbs bombed Zagreb in May 1995 they fortunately aimed at (and landed close to) the police HQ across the park from our embassy and not the embassy itself where I was working. Only a hundred yards but enough to make a difference. The irony was leaving Sarajevo after three years recently and moving into an apartment five miles from the Pentagon. My brother sent me an E-mail saying "What is it with you and war zones?" Sad how the same story is repeated all over the world. And so it goes......
