I think there is a very real possibility of a V-day -- huge drop, big tick reading like you say -- then a full recovery into the close. Then a slower decline the next day or even a continuation of the rally.

Between now and thursday we will be "covered" with the news about this tragedy. There will be a saturation of sorts and I think very few people will in fact "panic," but just enough to produce a good spike down which will be bought, IMO.

I reserve the right to change my guess.

Much harder questions revolve around how to deal with internal security here now. When they grounded planes -- they must have prevented a lot more and those folks are still here. Somebody has a big job in front of them -- a very big job.
