>Yours was undoubtedly the best rant I've read all day. Nice to hear from someone who actually comprehends the some of the causes of the events in NYC and at DoD.

Thanks.

>Clearly what we saw today was "Rage Against the Machine".

By the way I like that band<g>

>I loved your opinion on what should be done about the Israeli imperialism on the West Bank. The Israelis
are out of control and we in the US ought to be quite concerned about our government's support of such bullying.

Thanks. Funny that I just watched Sharon give an interview to BBC denouncing the terrorists...this coming from a cold blodded butcher.

>>If we do find Osama responsible, I support a massive invasion to hunt him down and hang him by his balls. But how long has it been that we cant' find this bastard?
>TTBOMK, Osama is legitimate, i.e. he's not a bastard. He's also a member of the elite class in Saudi Arabia. Now, just what do you hope to invade? Afghanistan? Perhaps we'd need to invade Pakistan in order to invade Afghanistan? The implications of such a folly are too preposterous to contemplate.

I said that in an ironic way actually presuming that if all of my terms were successfuly implemented (dreamland) AND it was determined that Osama was responsible that we should issue an ultimatum to the Taliban govt to turn him over or else suffer the consequences. We are not talking about a regular terrorist attack, we are talking about a very sophisticated coordinated attack against the US govt. So, if Osama can be located in Afganistan, I am sure our intelligence and military chiefs will devise a screwed up commando attack and/or unsuccessful bombing attack against him. Now, since he has been traced (haha) for years it should not be that hard, right? [I am being ironic again].

Bottom line without a just and lasting peace forced on the Israelis to give in to most of the Palestinian demands to have a viable state and live with dignity we will continue to have fanatics willing to sacrifice themselves for their God/country/virgins in heaven/etc. What the coming reckless bombing campaign will do (while continuing to take sides in the Middle East and Balkans) is just create more and more martyrs...I think these military gungho types are pushing Georgie right now to unleash hell somewhere in the globe (likely Afganistan)...I just hope he doesn't choose the nuke option (distinct possibility).

Funny to see a DoD official on CNN advocate the passing of the MDF ASAP...Unbelievable. Pretty soon will have the Ospray guys pushing for more of these planes...to defend us...yeah right.
