If Taliban can be connected to this act of war (the word "terrorism" doesn't really seem to fit any more), I bet we'll see a formal declaration of war, and an extensive campaign to remove them from power as well as totally dismantling the bin ladn organization. If they are involved, can putting them under the microscope be enough?

I am aware and completely in agreement. And if the evidence makes clear the Taliban is responsible for this, I am wholly supportive of a swift, direct and powerful response that shreds their power and imperils their lives. There is no denying that. And when principles face reality, there's certainly no denying that greater principles arise when dealing with madmen. It has nothing to do with nationalism, racism or religion. It has to do with sanity erasing evil of an unspeakable kind.

Jay Leno's wife is a leader in bringing this story to America, he even let her take time on his show to discuss it several years ago. I've always wondered why it was so ignored, although TIME did a big story around the time of the Leno publicity. Bombing oe explosions going on in Kabul, Afghanistan at this moment.
