You don't think the US has any responsibility with respect to the people who just happen to be in power in Afghanistan right now?

No, it started way before that. It was the butterfly who moved his wings and made a horse sneeze and take a dump, and there was this guy who stepped into it, and got so pissed off that he assassinated Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the Austrian throne, which started the WWI, which was the prelude to Versailles peace treaty, which caused WW2 etc.

And the butterfly was planted there by the United States, just in case you had any doubts on how to blame the US.
