NBC just speculated that the fireworks in Afghanistan may be the result of factional fighting there, and not part of a direct U.S. retaliation. UPI writer also speculated that Iraq/Saddam/Republican Guard may have had a role in the attacks in New York and Washington this morning. At this point, who knows.

I wouldn't be so sure it's a real attack by the U.S. Some explosions, some gunfire, it certainly could be a staged provocation intended to arouse sympathy to their 14th century viewpoints.

Kabul is guilty indirectly or directly. Take it out.
About time.

"If they reduce Kabul to rubble that's fine with me even if they didn't do it"

I agree. They allowed Bin Laden to train there and Bin Laden made a threat to the U.S. 3 weeks ago. Ok with me to hit them hard while looking at others. Those two things alone are enough for me. I hope they got the taliban liar on tv this morning that said Bin Laden didn't have the funds to carry it out.
