Well, Bill can speak for himself. I don't find his posts worth a response. As far as Palestinians go, my main objection here was the local rush to judgement. They may have been involved, but blowback from Afghanistan seems more likely. As I posted to X, I find the idea of retaliatory bombing of Afghanistan somewhat odd. I don't think there was a lot left standing in Kabul by the time the fighting ended there.

If the drums of war require some massive symbolic retaliation, it's an easy target, though.
