As to the markets, given that the financial nexus of the US was one of the targets, it seems like one of the most "American" things to do is keep up confidence in that structure. Damned if I'm going to sell and fulfill their "wishes".

My prayers are for safety for everyone. My friend loves NY skyscrapers, and he always said I should come and see the beautiful view. I hope he is safe.

Amy J, your friend is right...NYC has some of the most fantastical skyscrapers. They are well worth seeing.
