Certainly would seem that North American supplies of oil & gas will become much more valuable as it could be very turbulent in the next while, depending upon the response from the U.S. to the terrorists. Long term, I suspect it will strengthen the resolve of the Americans to access the oil from the North and certainly make the tar sands even more valuable. I visited New York for the first time in July and was awe struck by the size of the city and of the business activity and the buildings, particularly the World Trade Centre. It is almost unfathomable that the towers are gone and that there has been such senseless loss of life. Its one of those days that you go home and hug your kids and thank god to live in a sleepy little city on the Canadian prairies. I hope everyone will go donate blood tomorrow because there will be a large demand for it. TommyD
