It seems to me that congenial Americans used to carefree living from the top down are not taking these threats seriously enough in ensuring security. What we might need is some SS officer types?

This is a wake up call big time. Bush is going to have to really go after these "bandits."

The only place to be in the market now is gold or Bonds IMO.

Yes it looks like it was just too easy for them to get ahold of the planes. I wonder if they did not have help at the scanning of their luggage? One would think that the people manning the scanner would have strict security clearances etc.....If bandits can get through the scanning then they are in. At least this is the way I see it.
I am thinking about the people who may be trapped in the rubble and alive.
I also believe the longer we keep offices closed etc... the weaker we look to the enemy. Now a days every body in the world sees what is happening everywhere. "WE" are strong, we are a strong nation the rest of the world needs to see us this way.
