Cowards because they attacked defenseless people.
Why didn't they go after a military base, or somewhere our military had guns and missiles? Why didn't they fly their own planes?

Because they were cowards to the enth degree.

No, in order to defeat your enemy you need to understand him. These are cultic mad men. That is not the same as a coward. If you try to deal with them as cowards you will fail.

I think our leaders know they aren't dealing with cowards so why use the word? I know when these guys hear themselves described as cowards they just laugh. The thought of them laughing infuriates me. I wish we wouldn't use the word.
