you can do what you suggest ONLY once the RIGHT
government is in place. There is no solution but
eradication of the elements that perpetrated today's
actions. Rationalizing otherwise will be viewed by them
as weakness. They do not care about soul searching.
I don't disagree that many of the past US policies
may, in retrospect and 20/20 hindsight, have been
seriously misguided. However, this is here and now.
You can't back down. Think about how many more lives
would have been lost if Germany, Japan, or the Soviet
block would not have been confronted.

Thru history there have been leaders who, by their thoughts and deeds, were shown to be insane. Most have been left to run their course and the result has been the death of millions and ultimately the greatest death and destruction has come to their own people. How do we know them? By their message that some group; religious, ethnic, national origin, should be totally eliminated. Is it not humanitarian to spare a leader's very people from further woe by removing such a leader? When one fights cancer one does not do so out of a motive of revenge. But one fights tooth and nail.
