i am apologize George,i thought you were proposing Nuclear bombs as the way to go.
regards the degree of difficulty that the Afghan terrain is,i realize how uneasy this will be,that is why i support going after The Taliban utilizing the taliban's enemies within afghanistan--afghans themselves as part of the means to accompish our ends).
The taliban are now stalling and given cowardly double-speak.Saying that they have made it impossible NOW(not before now) for Bin-Laden to use his communications network but they will not turn Bin-Laden over unless they have proven for themselves that he is guilty(like they really think he is innocent--forget it!)--i personally feel this is just BS on their part.
regards the Nuclear bomb it is the ultimate in a cowardly weapon of terror, and ANYONE using it NOW(i do not judge Truman's decision and watched a 4-hour documentary dissecting of that whole event, but the ultimate after verdict of Hiroshima/Nagasaki was NEVER AGAIN!),and in view of all we know now,to use a nuclear bomb would be a criminal act of unspeakable evil--period,no debate.
And those that support "Nuke em",are themselves thinking at the level of the evilest of all terrorist--Bin-Laden himself(i have no doubt Bin-Laden or Saddam for that matter, would utilize nuclear aggression if they could get it accomplished.)(and this is but one reason why i screamed when Saddam was let off the hook by george bush,sr---and now,via remark by King Hussein in his last document,to not let your guard down regards small-pox--that it is suspected that Saddam has the small-pox virus). max
