Each statistic is a story.
The cell phone calls from the planes are amazing and heartbreaking (I heard a woman on TV last night who got a goodbye call from her son on one of the planes. Wonderful closure/horrible happening).
The cell phone calls from under the debris...no words to describe this it brings home what years ago without technology must also have happened: people alive buried in earthquake/explosion aftermaths who are wondering if they will die or be saved. I can't imagine what that must be like. Amazing if they are saved this time because of the technology.
It all breaks your heart so you can imagine the broken hearts of the families truly involved.
I guess we will never forget the view of the towers imploding.
