We just lost thousands of INNOCENT AMERICAN CIVILIANS yesterday. That's not government propaganda. We all know there's no peace in the Middle East. That isn't the root of anything. It is symptomatic of something much, much deeper. If there was any purpose to the infamy of yesterday it was to publicize the fact, once more, for the American people, that there is no peace in the middle east. And, since our gov't supports Israel, if we want peace in the middle east, we should back off fom that support. Right Harry?? That's known as appeasement. It's part of a negotiating strategy. Hitler used it successfully in 1938 when he convinced the British and French governments to "just back off from supporting the Sudentenland". "That surely will bring peace", said Mr. Chamberlain. Hitler doesn't want any more land than that. He even SAID SO. "This is peace in our time". You have to look at the Arab and Islamic world (especially Islam) as a block. They may fight like cats & dogs amongst themselves, but they stand united against "infidels" like Americans and especially against Zionists in Israel. The terrrorist attacks are used as political leverage. That's why Israel refuses to reward it by conceeding to negotiate with the PA until all the violence has ceased for a period of time. The ONLY reason there are still problems WRT terrorism in the middle east is because western countries (including the USA) have been too eqiuvocal in attempting diplomacy to solve a problem requiring a military response. The Israeli's are not blowing smoke. They face this on a daily basis and have learned how to deal with it. I don't like being the one to say it. War is hell. But what happened yesterday was an act of war and should be a call to arms for all peace and freedom-loving people in the world.
