The timing of the attack

I believe that the attackers have astutely timed the attack to the World Trade Centers when the U.S. financial markets are particularly vulnerable.

This thesis has not been expounded by the media. As major market indices are making successive new lows, the news of the attack might just bring the U.S. financial markets to their knees.
