jhild -- the point really is the Pres is required to stay safe in order to maintain govt funtions. The policy has been in place for decades. The bunker you mentioned is equipped for him to do his job and LEAD,,, dead he cannot lead. He had no choice. If he was to run he would not have returned from FL. Another of your errors is there are safe areas at the Pentagon. You must still be angry Al lost the election--- but he would have had to do the exact same thing!
